Manchester United star striker, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have given their newborn baby daughter the name Bella Esmeralda.
The disclosure was made alongside three gorgeous images of the child resting calmly in her cot by the footballer’s girlfriend.
The child was born on April 18, but her twin brother tragically died shortly after delivery.
The Manchester United striker and his former sales assistant disclosed that his son had died at delivery, but his daughter had survived.
Ronaldo and his girlfriend announced their son’s death in a message, saying, “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel.
“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.
“We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.
“We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”
