According to the UK Express, forward Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United could be on the verge of a shocking summer transfer to Chelsea.
Recent talks between Ronaldo’s Jorge Mendes and new owner Todd Boehly are thought to have touched on a prospective move.
The recruitment problems at United are making the Portugal captain increasingly agitated, and Boehly intends to oversee his first window at Stamford Bridge.
The 37-year-current old’s Old Trafford contract has one year remaining on it.
Ronaldo and the new manager, Erik ten Hag, both expressed enthusiasm for the next campaign as the Dutchman rebuilt his team.
However, despite interest in Darwin Nunez, who just joined Liverpool, Frenkie de Jong, a midfielder for Barcelona, and Antony, a winger for Ajax, the team has failed to make a single signing and the star forward doesn’t seem to be happy with the situation.
