In the midst of a paternity dispute involving a 12-year-old girl named Anu, musician Davido has expressed gratitude to his father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, for standing up for him.
At a press conference, Dr. Adeleke declared that Davido has a 0.00% paternity probability and is not Anu’s biological father based on DNA testing.
The singer underwent many DNA tests after Anu allegedly claimed to be Davido’s daughter, all of which came out negative. Dr. Adeleke declared plans to file a defamation lawsuit after accusing investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo of using Anu’s online persona to disparage Davido.
Citing bullying and emotional suffering, Anu had asked for a DNA test to prove her identity. Dr. Adeleke disclosed that Anu’s family had provided financial support, including school tuition and a university scholarship for her mother, notwithstanding, despite the negative tests.
Davido expressed gratitude to his father on Instagram, writing, “Thank you, my loving father”.
