Nigerian Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name as Davido, has claimed that on Saturday night, he and his group got into a heated altercation with security guards at Hi Ibiza, a well-known nightclub in Spain.
Early on Sunday morning, Davido posted pictures of several of the security personnel he said were engaged in the event on his Instagram story.
“@Hiibizaofficial security had an issue with me and my team!!!” he wrote. “All of y’all going down!!!”
The singer did not provide all the circumstances of what caused the confrontation.
He is now on holiday on the island with close friends and family, including his manager Asa Asika and nightlife mogul Cubana Chiefpriest.
Over the previous three days, Davido and his group have been in Ibiza, posting pictures and videos of their opulent vacation to social media.
At the moment of this report , no official statement has been released by Hi Ibiza nightclub or Spanish authorities concerning the incident.
