Comedian DeeOne from Nigeria has sparked controversy on the internet by claiming that Afrobeats musician Davido purposefully skipped his longtime friend and business partner Soso Soberekon’s wedding.
DeeOne claims that Davido’s failure to attend the wedding and publicly congratulate Soso on social media was motivated by jealousy.
DeeOne claimed that Davido is envious of Soso because he thinks the music executive is richer than him in a video that has gone viral.
“Davido is jealous of Soso Soberekon because Soso is richer than him. He is a terrible human being. He wants good for his colleagues, but not if they become bigger than him. He is envious and jealous of his colleagues. He was close to Wizkid, not until Wizkid became better than him,” DeeOne claimed.
