Demi Moore Shares Health Update On Hollywood Star Bruce Willis

According to US actress; Demi Moore, her ex-husband Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), is currently in a “very stable place.”

Willis’s diagnosis of aphasia—a condition that impairs communication skills—was first made public in March 2022.

Last year, Willis was given a “more specific” diagnosis of FTD, according to his daughter Rumer.

In a CNN interview with British journalist Christiane Amanpour, Moore provided an update on Willis’ health, saying: “Given the givens, he’s in a very stable place at the moment. “I’ve shared this before, but I mean this so sincerely, it’s so important for anybody who’s dealing with this to meet them where they’re at, and from that place, there is such loving and joy.

“I mean, obviously it’s very difficult, and it’s not what I would wish upon anyone and there is great loss, but there is also great beauty and gifts that can come out of it.”

Willis, 69, who starred in Die Hard, was married to Ghost actress Moore for 13 years before they went their separate ways. The two of them have three daughters together: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Even after splitting up in 2000, the two actors stayed close, and Willis later got married to actress Emma Heming Willis in 2009, with whom he had two additional kids, Mabel and Evelyn.

When asked about her family’s ability to stay together despite her split from Willis, Moore said:

“That has been very important to me, even from when Bruce and I separated and divorced, is the recognition that we’re a family and we’ll always be a family, just in a different form.

“And that form may evolve and change, and there is a way in which we can all be in that form. “I’m grateful because it’s not just me. It has to require everybody to be coming together, and it’s lovely. I’m so grateful.”

According to Dementia UK, FTD is an umbrella term for a group of dementias that primarily impact the brain’s frontal and temporal lobes, which are in charge of things like personality, conduct, language, and speech.

Due to his health issues, Bruce Willis, who is best known for his roles in Die Hard, The Sixth Sense, and Pulp Fiction, took a break from acting.

We wish him a full recovery.
