Denrele Edun Opens Up On His Battle With Stroke

Media personality and actor, Denrele Edun has opened up on his battle with stroke.

In an interview with Channels Television, Denrele Edun revealed that he was very sick at the time because he had a stroke. According to him, the stroke was on half of his face but it still didn’t stop him from working.

He disclosed that his face was dropping on the right side and anytime he drinks water, it would pour out of his mouth. Edun said he had trouble breathing, and seeing clearly, his front hair fell out and his right leg was paralyzed.

He recounted how his friend had invited him to a movie shoot, while he was battling with the disease, yet he had to show up because he hates making excuses and being pitied.

”I was very sick at a time, so I had just come out of having a stroke on half of my face, it’s never happened before but it still didn’t stop me or it didn’t deter me from working, my face dropping on the right side anytime I have to drink water it would pour out of my mouth one eye was wide opened I couldn’t hear and breathe”.

Never give up. People will always discount you, and you’ll always get rejected. But set your sights high. Be boldly ambitious. Be relentless and never give up.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
