Discord Says Tyler Robinson Didn’t Use Platform In Charlie Kirk Murder Plan

Discord has made it clear that it was not utilized by Tyler Robinson for plotting or hiding the killing of Charlie Kirk.

An official representative from the service informed TMZ that although law enforcement officials pinpointed a Discord profile connected to Robinson, there existed no proof that he employed it to arrange the assault or encourage aggression. “The messages referenced in recent reporting about planning details do not appear to be Discord messages. These were communications between the suspect’s roommate and a friend after the shooting, where the roommate was recounting the contents of a note the suspect had left elsewhere,” the spokesperson said.

Officials reported that Robinson’s roommate had provided communications to the investigators, encompassing references to obtaining a firearm and stashing it away, yet Discord stressed that these consisted of handwritten documents beyond the service, rather than exchanges transmitted via Discord proper.

The firm verified that it has deleted Robinson’s profile. Officials in Utah have declared that Robinson is thought to have operated solo, although the probe continues to proceed.
