Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, is a Grammy Award-winning singer who has shared insight into what it’s like to be in a loving relationship.
The Afrobeat phenomenon, 29, compared her dating experience to “stumbling upon a rare species of flower.”
Tems made this claim in a recent “Is This Seat Taken” podcast interview with journalist Chinasa Anukam. The singer explained by comparison that although her personality may not be lovely on the outside, it is wonderful within.
She said; “Dating me is like stumbling upon a rare species of flower that looks black from the outside and when you open it, it has pink, purple but in the middle, there’s a stone.”
