Divine Instructions – Monday Motivation
A man who is addicted to divine instructions never misses his way, and if there is anything we all must be resolute about this season, it is hearing God and doing His bidding. We all desire elevation, however there is only one perfect way that leads to each and every one of our desires. Interestingly, none of us can say for certain, and in sufficient details, what those paths are. No matter how similar the road may seem to the ones we are used to, it is certainly not familiar. We haven’t gone through this way before and only God who inhabits eternity past and future knows the hills and valleys, the bumps and curves on the highway of life.
Walking by His daily instructions therefore remains our surest guide. Like He did for Israel in the wilderness, we can be sure that He would gladly and graciously lead us by a pillar of cloud in the day and by a pillar of fire by night. And our job? It is to simply follow the pillar of His glory; move when He moves and stop when He stops. He alone knows which road we should take or not take, what investments we should make or not make and what friends or clients we should keep or not keep. However, never be too quick to let go of the people God brings your way. Many times, people’s true values never show up early. There would always be some watering and nurturing to do before the best in people come to the fore.
Thank God it is Monday. May we each find grace to follow His leading and may all our desires to be elevated in life come true in Jesus name.
