DJ Cuppy Opens Up on Bitter Break Up

Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed that her heart was “the most played” this year.

DJ Cuppy suffered a heartbreak in July after her fiance, British boxer Ryan Taylor, parted ways with her barely seven months after their shocking engagement in November 2022, said fans don’t need to check Spotify to know what was played the most this year:

On her X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday, Cuppy, who seems to still be brooding over her failed engagement, wrote:

“Meanwhile, you don’t have to check Spotify; my heart was the most played this year.”

Agnesisikablog recalls that DJ Cuppy while speaking at a recent Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ) conference in London, mentioned her failed engagement as one of the major setbacks of her life, saying: “Last year I got engaged and I am no longer engaged but such is life and I know my story is still happening and there is more to come and I am okay with the uncertainties.”

Reacting to the post;

EbopG said: “You didn’t have to say

Our hearts went out to meet yours”

Klasickthehost wrote: “Omo Naso these men chop you clean mouth this year again …”

@justkingss remarked: “Come to me baby I won’t play with your heart”

@noblebenz commented: “Cuppy, yes you had a failed relationship this year but it still doesn’t make you the “most played”. There are many good guys (me) in your dms waiting for you to give them a chance. The year is not yet over, you can still turn things around for the better

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
