To be honest, I feel it is not right for parents to choose a life partner for their children. They have the right to advise the children in order not to make the wrong choice but choosing for them is a No go area.

Choosing a life partner is the most important decision one can ever make in his or her life. It’s a vital decision that one needs to ponder on before going into. Before choosing a life partner, you must have the qualities of the kind of person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

There are some parent who are just to plushy, they feel their son and daughter should marry from their caliber even when the people in question don’t love themselves🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. I will give you an example of two businessmen who want their children to marry each other simply because they don’t want their money to go outside. The children have been friends from childhood but they do not have feelings for each other at all.

The children were not in support of their parent’s decisions because they both have their different spouses. After so much persuasion from both parents, they eventually got married. They have never slept on the same bed right from the day they got married because they are still in touch with their spouses and they just pretend to be couples in front of their parents and siblings.

One day, they came up with a plan, the lady pretended that the man is a woman beater, she used some makeup on her face to show to the guy’s parents that she could no longer stay under the same roof with him. She was adamant not to go back and the guy also pretended to be seeing a side chick in front of the lady’s parent.

To cut the long story short, they both invited both parents and confess to all that has been happening ever since they got married. The parents were dumbfounded, they were shocked😱😱😱. And right from that moment, they both gave their blessings that they should marry whoever they wish to spend the rest of their lives with.

We still have some parents who will say you will not marry that person because he or she is from a particular tribe. Although, parents want the best for their children they should not enforce who their children should marry.

They should trust that they have raised their children properly to choose the right partner for the rest of their life and put everything in God’s hand.
