“Don’t Listen To Candidates Giving Out Fake Statistics” – Gov Sanwo-Olu

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has urged Nigerians to vote for people who can lead the nation to greater heights.

Sanwo-Olu advised Nigerians to avoid those who present false statistics and instead give consideration to those who have well-defined strategies.

On Friday, he attended a Special Prayer Session/Jumat Service in Ikeja to commemorate the country’s 62nd Independence Day celebration.

Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, claimed that APC’s candidate Bola Tinubu has the capability to manage the country’s economy.

According to NAN, the Lagos State Governor said, “We should look at who has access to the sources for businesses.

“Nigerians should look at who has the ability to protect the integrity of our country by sustaining the military, training them well.”

In preparation for the general elections in 2023, the governor issued a warning against exploiting religion to create a distraction.

He said, “If we can put our lives in the hands of doctors without asking for their religion before surgery, why then are doing otherwise?”
