Embracing A Fresh Start

Embracing A Fresh Start

Throughout history, many individuals have overcome difficult beginnings to achieve great success. Your level of confidence in the future depends on how much you have overcome in the past. A settled past is necessary for a secure future. How can you embrace the future if you’re still holding onto the past?

How can you expect to succeed in the future if you’re still controlled by the past? The devil tricks you by making you believe that your past defines your present. Your past as a prostitute does not define who you are now or who you will be in the future. Just because you had a bad habit yesterday doesn’t mean it defines you today. Every morning is a chance to start fresh, given by God.

God’s relationship with us is not based on our past. Why does God give us a new morning each day. New beginning.

Many times even the most religious people in church continue to define you by your yesterday. It’s foolish to go against yourself when the whole world is already against you.

In Luke 5: Peter’s personal judgement of himself was depart from me for I am a sinful man. It is amazing that it is this same unworthy man that God thought good and dependable enough to commit the young and delicate church into his hands. Truth is when God forgives, he truly does. Rahab, the harlot;. This woman saved her whole family simply by teaming up with what God was involved with. She protected the men on assignment for God when everyone else wanted them dead. Tis amazing how little things impress God

Zacchaeus, a disliked figure among the people (Luke 19:1-10). He was hated by everyone, not due to envy, but because he truly deserved it. We can work hard to earn money in various ways, but often we realize it wasn’t worth it in the end. You’ve come to realize that wealth isn’t as important as you thought. Having a good name is more valuable than wealth. He suddenly realized that despite his wealth, there was still a sense of emptiness. He obtained everything he desired, but recently discovered that nothing truly brings satisfaction without God. He must do everything to see God. After finding God, he was now willing to give up the things he had previously pursued instead of God. In addition to giving half of his possessions to the poor, he was now willing to repay four times the amount he wrongfully took from others through false accusations. His usual practice was to arrest innocent people and then expect them to pay for their own release.

Ruth was a woman with a bad reputation. I have lost my father-in-law, brother-in-law, and husband. She never had anything to comfort her throughout her entire life. She only had a widowed mother-in-law who was a liability. She faced many obstacles. Notice how God placed her in a position of favor.

Beloved, Don’t let your past define your future. You can’t change the past, but you can change the future.
