Enugu State Govt Boosts Education with 30 New School Buses

The Enugu State government has taken a significant step towards enhancing the educational experience of its students by presenting 30 brand-new school buses to various Science, Technical, and Vocational Schools across the state.

Governor Peter Mbah, represented by Dr. Chinyere Onyishi, emphasized the administration’s commitment to prioritizing education and ensuring the welfare of staff and students. The buses aim to eliminate distance barriers, enabling schools to function more efficiently.

Mbah highlighted the state’s unprecedented development in education, citing a 33% budgetary allocation to the sector for two consecutive years. This investment seeks to equip students to compete globally.

The Chairman of the Science, Technical, and Educational Management Board, Dr. Amaka Ngene, praised the governor’s innovative approach to education and assured him that the board would work tirelessly to realize his vision.

Principals and educators expressed gratitude for the gesture, acknowledging the positive impact on staff and students. The buses will facilitate movement for educational activities, enhancing the overall learning experience.

This initiative underscores the Enugu State government’s dedication to transforming education and empowering its youth.
