Face The Task Ahead – Monday Motivation

There are no vacant seats in life. Some are dethroned so others could be enthroned. Don’t be too holy to sit on a throne, no matter how sacred it looks, if God already offered it to you. While you are not to work for the downfall of another, like David, you are also not to refuse the anointing for kingship if the LORD already took it away from Saul. You should never be so sympathetic with the fallen that you refuse to arise. Wisdom should teach you that there is so much you may never become until some people quit the scene.

Face The Task Ahead - Monday Motivation

This is hard to swallow, but it is the way life is; we do not pray that others fail, but it takes the failure of another to make your world discover your potentials. There would have been no need for a David if Saul didn’t fail. There would never have been a Queen Esther if Queen Vashti did not miss the mark. Matthias would never have been numbered among the apostles if Judas never fell away.

This is a new week; so stop weeping over Moses. Like Joshua, you must rise up to continue from where Moses left off and courageously face the task ahead.
