At Balmoral Promotions’ Chaos in the Ring event, which took place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, on October 1, 2026, reality TV star Phyna and comedian Carter Efe won the celebrity boxing bouts. In the main event, Ghanaian Seth “Freezy Macbones” Gyimah defeated Godday “Zodsolo” Appah.
In their planned four-round match, Phyna, whose real name is Josephina Otabor, defeated actress Nkechi Blessing to become the first female celebrity boxer from Nigeria.
Following the fight, the former Big Brother Naija winner accused Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia of disturbing her via direct messages and named her as her next target.
“I came in, and I kept my cool and did the thing. Now I would like to fight Etinosa. I think it is time I teach her a lesson,” Phyna said.
“I have been advising you to carry the Edo name with pride. We do not run from any fight. I accept the challenge fully,” she said.
Phyna also received ₦50m as the winner of the historic bout and indicated that she intends to pursue professional boxing.
