Hhmmm….the gist now is that
Mercy Eke; the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season four; has denied ever dating her former colleague; Ike Onyema.
The reality TV star, who was a guest on the Frankly Speaking podcast said that contrary to reports, she and Ike were never in a relationship.
Mercy stated this while clearing the air on an assumption that she was taking care of the United States returnee.
She said she has dated someone that she was taking care of but she didn’t reveal the name of the individual. The hosts interrupted by saying that they know it is the person she was dating in the BBNaija house.
But the brand influencer dismissed their assumption and said that she was never in any relationship with Ike. When asked about how Ike had initially confirmed he dated her, she said: “I can speak for myself, I can’t speak for anybody.”

Social media users have reacted differently to the video of Mercy Eke. Most of them are surprised by her statement. I Am shocked as well.

Moreover, why drag a friend on social media and make him look less of a man. This is so uncalled for.
Well, in my own opinion, I think Mercy lied. Haba, we saw all the lovey-dovey on screen while in Big Brother’s house and even a few weeks after the show.
If she says what she had with Ike was just a fling…en, that one I go accept, but this? Nooo…I refuse to believe it!
