Femi Adebayo Reveals Why He Abandoned Law To Pursue Acting

Femi Adebayo, a well-known actor and producer, has described the moment he decided that acting was his genuine vocation rather than law.

Adebayo, who graduated from the University of Ibadan with a master’s degree in law, said that acting was only a pastime and that he was making N20,000 a month as a lawyer.

But according to Pulse, he discovered acting was his love after accepting a three-day, N50,000 acting deal.

He said: “Honestly speaking, that was when I started working as a lawyer.
My salary then was just N20,000 on a monthly basis And acting was a hobby for me all this while. So not until they invited me for acting roles, they were ready to pay me N50,000 for three days. And as a lawyer, I was getting N20,000 for one month. I said, Femi, this acting is your calling. That was when I decided that I would abandon law practice and face entertainment fully”.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy
