Ferrari Driver; Charles Leclerc Urges Fans To Stop Visiting His Home

Charles Leclerc, a Formula One driver, begged fans to respect his privacy after some of them showed up at his flat in recent months as a result of the information being released.

The Monaco-born Ferrari driver appealed to his followers not to go too far during a rally.

“For the past few months my home address has somehow become public, leading to people gathering beneath my apartment, ringing my bell, and asking for pictures and autographs,” Leclerc posted on his Instagram account.

“While I’m always happy to be there for you and truly appreciate your support, please respect my privacy and refrain from coming to my house.”

Leclerc, who has earned 18 pole positions and five victories for Ferrari, promised to always pause for selfies and autographs from passing fans.

There is a cap to what he will do, so if people knock on his door after that point, he will stop responding.

“I won’t be coming downstairs if you visit my home,” he wrote. “Your support, both in person and on social media, means the world to me, but there is a boundary that should not be crossed.”

Last year, Leclerc came in second place overall in the Formula One championship, but he lagged far behind undisputed champion Max Verstappen.

Leclerc had a rough start to the season, finishing last in two of the first three races, earning only six points, and falling to tenth place in the standings.

Leclerc lost power on lap 39 of the season-opening GP in Bahrain while running third, then he crashed out of the Australian GP on the opening lap of the most recent race.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
