Flight Passenger Accused Of Ass*ulting Mom And Daughter

A new complaint claims that a passenger groped a 16-year-old girl and her mother on a Delta Air Lines aircraft after consuming at least ten vodka drinks and a glass of wine.

According to court documents filed on Tuesday, July 25 in Brooklyn Federal Court, flight attendants on the nearly nine-hour journey out of JFK Airport in the US “blatantly ignored” the pair’s calls for assistance, including a demand to stop providing the abuser alcohol.

When the aircraft landed in Athens, Greece, crew members allegedly allowed the intoxicated man quietly exit the aircraft without reporting an alleged sexual assault to the local authorities.

“What happened to them during a flight was not just a nightmare, it was completely preventable,” said the family’s lawyer, Evan Brustein, of the July 26, 2022 trip.

The man allegedly received alcohol from flight attendants despite being visibly intoxicated.

The family alleges that the man “frightened” the teenage girl by putting his hands on her back, making “obscene gestures,” screaming, and demanding that she disclose him her address and other private information. He added that he “did not care” that the daughter was a teenager, telling the mother.

A flight attendant ignored the mother’s complaints and told her to “be patient.”

The mother and daughter claim that the unidentified male, who “mumbled” that he was from Connecticut, gave them a moment’s rest by going to the bathroom and “loudly” vomiting before coming back with a glass of wine.

The flight attendant allegedly urged the guy to “stop talking” to the victims rather than moving him to a different seat, which led to the inebriated man’s agitated, profanity-laced tirade during which he called the mother and her child “f-king bitches.”

The $2 million lawsuit claims that the youngster felt the drunken Delta passenger’s clammy fingers under her blouse going up her back, fingering her bra strap, and sliding over her body as she started to experience a panic attack and placed her head down in her mother’s lap.

The mother allegedly screamed at the alcoholic passenger to stop as she rushed out of her seat. The drunk passenger apparently leaned over and put his hand up the mother’s leg.

According to the lawsuit, the mother asked a Delta flight attendant to call the police but was instead advised to “calm down and think about it.” For the remainder of the flight, the victims then switched seats.

The flight attendants provided 5,000 complimentary airline miles as compensation as the aircraft touched down.
