Francesco Totti’s Ex-wife Accuses Him Of Being Jealous Of Her

Francesco Totti’s ex-wife has spoken out publicly for the first time since the couple divorced.

Francesco Totti and Ilary Blasi, who married on national television in 2005 and had three children together, divorced last year.

Blasi, who had been accused of infidelity by Totti, has now decided to come forward and explain her side of the story of their marriage’s demise.

“I spent a year and a half observing and understanding what had happened. I have read and listened to all the different points of view and opinions. But it was my story and I always put my face in everything I did.

“So this time it seemed good to me to say it,’ Blasi said on the Italian TV chat show, Verissimo.

“Francesco has always been jealous of me, his jealousy was nothing new.”

After meeting in 2001 and being married for 17 years, the former couple established themselves as one of Italy’s most popular couples.

“It is not true that I was the first to betray,’ Totti told Marca last year.

“I said I was not going to speak and I did not, but I have read too many hoaxes in recent weeks. Some have even made my children suffer.”

‘He is the father of my children,’ she said on television. Maybe he was confused, terrified, or looking for an easier way out, but it was nothing like how we feel these days.

“Other betrayals? Probably yes, but I have no proof. In my heart, now I say yes.

“I tried every means to save this marriage and did what a wife and mother should do. But it didn’t work.”

Their marriage suffered after Blasi hired a private investigator to search down her husband after suspecting him of infidelity.

The Netflix documentary ‘Unico’ describes how Blasi became aware of Totti’s connection with his new girlfriend Noemi Bocchi.

Blasi found out about their connection through a play date her daughter Isabel had. They would shortly part ways.

During the divorce settlement, it’s been a tit-for-tat last 12 to 18 months.

Last year, Totti accused Blasi of ‘running off’ with his Rolex watches, and as a result, he is reported to have agreed to keep her pricey belongings under lock and key until they were returned.

‘What was I expected to do?’ he asked Corriere della Sera. I hid the packages in the hopes of a trade.’

According to the Times, he also has £3,500 in his possession of his wife’s fancy shoes.

He also accused Ilary’s father of assisting his daughter in concealing the watches.
