Funke Akindele Opens Up On Friendship, Personal Growth, And Uzee Usman’s Impact On Her Mindset

Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress, has come out as an extremist when discussing her relationships with individuals.

Funke claimed to be an extreme in an interview with Morayo Afolabi Brown because she is genuine, open, and has a strong love. Although she acknowledged that she isn’t flawless, the box office queen acknowledged that she can cause problems.

“I am not proud of that, and I am proud of it. There must be a balance.

I am an extremist, I love so hard, and I am real and open. I am not perfect, but I can be troublesome. My mother, when she was alive, would tell me that people can’t be like me, they can’t be as smart and fast as I am, and I should calm down.

Funke disclosed that her colleague, Uzee Usman, changed her perspective on her relationships with people. She said he told her that she is a leader and should accept people as they are.

“I thank God for someone like Uzee Usman in my life. There was a day he sat me down when I was complaining about people’s behaviour. He told me that I am a leader and I should accept people as they are.
For the first time, I sat down, and I was quiet. I left my food, almost in tears, because what he said was true. I told him I would try to manage”.

“Human relationships for me are very important, and I am learning every day, but no matter what happens, my mental health is paramount”.
