Nollywood star Gabriel Afolayan has celebrated his Best Supporting Actor win at the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for his role in “Inside Life.”
Afolayan reflected on his ten-year career in an Instagram post, chronicling his beginnings as a toddler in 1990 under the tutelage of seasoned actor Baba-Sala. Afolayan resumed acting in 2000 after taking a short hiatus to concentrate on his studies, and he rose to fame in the year 2005.
“Got into the game since 1990 through Baba-Sala as a child actor. School breaks. Made a comeback in 2000. Fame kicked in 2005.
“2005-2025. Madam dearest – inside life. Fame before fortune (reward). Decades of consistent hard work. Omo olodun so pe purrr!Amvca11. Amvca2025. WINNER”, he wrote.
