‘Go Ahead And Try Impeaching Me, Again, MAKE MY DAY!’ – Trump

US President Donald Trump delivered a scathing retort to congressional Democrats on Tuesday morning, June 24, challenging them to initiate a third impeachment attempt over his recent military operations in Iran.

“So go ahead and try impeaching me again — MAKE MY DAY!” Trump posted on Truth Social, quoting the famous Clint Eastwood line from Dirty Harry as he aimed his criticism at progressive legislators.

His main target was Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who demanded Trump’s impeachment after US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities last weekend. Trump retaliated, calling her “one of the dumbest people in Congress” and accusing Democrats of being opposed to achievement.

“She can’t stand the concept of our country being successful again,” he wrote.

Trump also attacked other progressive lawmakers, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), whom he labeled “seriously a Low IQ individual,” and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who he claimed “does nothing but complain about our country,” adding a dig at her Somali background by noting she comes from “one of the WORST countries in the world — if it’s even rated at all.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who described Trump’s strikes as “a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers,” was mockingly called “The Mouse” by the former president in his post.

“We’re just now coming back from that radical left experiment with Sleepy Joe, Kamala, and THE AUTOPEN in charge. What a disaster that was!” Trump raged, referring to President Biden’s use of an autopen to sign bills. He added that Ocasio-Cortez should be “forced” to take the same cognitive test he took at Walter Reed, which he claims to have “ACED.”

The former president also commented on rumors that AOC might challenge Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) in a Democratic primary.

“She better start worrying about her own primary before thinking about beating our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer — whose career is definitely on very thin ice!” he wrote.

Trump’s tirade coincided with the Israel-Iran cease-fire, which he had previously facilitated, taking effect on Tuesday morning.
