The Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel, has hosted various women groups and forums across the council area in a strategic engagement session focused on enhancing women’s participation in governance, community development, and democratic processes.

In his address, Hon. Daniel underscored the importance of women’s involvement in the Ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) Exercise, urging them to serve as grassroots mobilizers and ensure robust female representation in the democratic space.

He further charged women to play active roles in nation-building, stressing their indispensable contributions to social, political, and economic progress.

The Chairman also reassured participants of his administration’s commitment to unveiling empowerment initiatives tailored to uplift women, strengthen families, and promote inclusivity in leadership.
