A forward-thinking administrator with a deep understanding of grassroots needs, Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel has, within his first month in office, demonstrated a clear commitment to inclusive governance, community development, and sustainable growth.

His administration has already recorded remarkable milestones across key sectors:

  1. Youth Engagement and Empowerment

Commemorated International Youth Day 2025 with impactful activities.

Flagged off the 2025 Summer Skill Acquisition Training Program for youths across the LCDA.

  1. Strengthening Traditional and Cultural Identity

Supported and celebrated the 2025 Isese Day, reinforcing the LCDA’s cultural heritage.

  1. Aggressive Infrastructure Drive

Officially flagged off the construction of seven roads across the seven wards of the LCDA.

  1. Security and Safety

Convened peace and security meetings with relevant agencies and stakeholders to strengthen community safety.

  1. Harmonious and Collaborative Governance

Inaugurated the 6th Legislative Arm of Itire-Ikate LCDA.

Facilitated a 3-Day Induction Training Program for councillors and top management staff.

Held a Consultative Staff Forum with management team and NULGE executives.

Approved a verification exercise for non-pensionable staff.

  1. Improved Internally Generated Revenue (IGR)

Engaged revenue officers, contractors, transport unions, market leaders, and other statutory operators on strategies for effective and sustainable IGR.

  1. Community Engagement

Held consultative meetings with stakeholders including the CDC, youth groups, religious leaders, traditional rulers, security agencies, political leaders, market and transport unions.

Embarked on a community assessment tour of proposed project sites across the LCDA.

  1. Civic Engagement

Inaugurated and presented working tools to the CVR Ad-hoc Committee across all wards.

  1. Inter-Governmental and Strategic Partnerships

Undertook a working visit to the Lagos State Commissioner for Education ahead of the official opening of the first Itire-Ikate Secondary School Project.

Participated in the 2-Day Onboarding Program for newly elected Council Chairmen and Vice Chairmen in Lagos State.

Attended the “Renewed Hope” Empowerment Program for 1,000 women, facilitated by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Participated in a stakeholders’ program facilitated by Senator Wasiu Eshilokun-Sanni, Lagos Central Senatorial District.

Attended the APC Lagos State Executive Committee stakeholders’ meeting on the nationwide CVR exercise.

Took part in the Mid-Term Milestone Stakeholders Meeting and Compendium of Legislative Activities of Hon. (Arc.) Lanre Okunlola, MHR, Surulere Constituency II.

With these strategic interventions, the administration has shown its resolve to build a government of ease, inclusiveness, and accountability.
