Husband Allegedly Beat His Wife To Death Over A Piece Of Bread

A beautiful young mother of five has allegedly died as a result of her husband beating her over a loaf of bread.

The deceased who is identified as Ogochukwu Anene was from Umuokpu village in Awka, Anambra State. She was married to Mr. Ndubisi Wilson Uwadiegwu from Enugu state, and they had four sons and a daughter together.

However, it was claimed that domestic violence was a problem in the union.

On the tragic day Ogochukwu died, she reportedly requested her husband to buy bread for the family but he reportedly replied he had no money. She then bought bread for the household with her money.

The husband allegedly went into the kitchen after that to devour the whole loaf.

When she challenged him about finishing the bread without saving any for their children, he allegedly beat her up with his fists and a mirror.

During the beating, she passed out and died a few hours later.

The husband intended to bury her without properly notifying her family when she passed away, but he is still at large.

“Ogochukwu Anene served as the senior prefect of the 2000 class at Amenyi Girls’ Secondary School. She was incredibly brilliant,” a source stated in a statement following her passing.

Many of her friends have resorted to Facebook to seek justice for the deceased in response to the outrage that her death has caused.

Domestic violence is a broad-spectrum issue. Women should learn to leave abusive marriages to live long. If you find yourself in an abusive relationship please seek help and walk out.
