Husband Dies As His Wife Pulled His Testicles During A Fight

The Delta State Police Command has detained a woman in connection with the death of her husband, Jakpo Ekemini, in the state’s Mosogar Community, Ethiope West Local Government Area.

DSP Bright Edafe, the command’s spokesperson, said in a statement to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Warri on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, that the woman pulled her 32-year-old husband’s testicles during a quarrel.

“She did not cut the testicles; she drew it, and you know that part is delicate,” the PPRO said.

“The man died in the process and the suspect has been arrested,” he added.

According to a person with knowledge of the situation, the deceased’s older brother reported the incident to Mosogar local police on Tuesday.

He revealed that a misunderstanding between the two was the cause of the incident, which happened on Tuesday, September 12, at around 1:20 p.m.

“My younger brother’s wife (name withheld) held and drew the testicles of her husband, Efemini, aged 32 while they were fighting in Mosogar. In the process, my brother slumped and was rushed to the hospital where he was later certified dead. The corpse has been deposited at a mortuary in Mosogar,” the source quoted the deceased’s brother as saying.

According to reports, the suspect escaped to an unknown location after carrying out the deed. She was later detained and is currently being questioned.
