“I Have Seen The Omens, Worst Times Are Coming” – Pope Francis

The Pope has issued a frightening statement, warning that he has observed indications of a time that would be even darker for humanity.

The 85-year-old Pope described his vision of the world, which includes “omens of even greater destruction and desolation,” during a Mass at the Vatican.

The Mass was held in honour of Yesterday’s Our Lady of Guadalupe Feast. It honours the Virgin Mary’s visitation of Saint Juan Diego, a young man, in Mexico City in 1531.

The Pope stated that he had a vision that things will become worse despite the current difficulties facing the world, including the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the rising cost of living, poverty, and other crises.

The pontiff stated in his sermon that although “it is a bitter time, filled with the rumbling of war, growing injustice, famine, poverty, and suffering,” there are “omens of even greater destruction and desolation” at this “bleak and disconcerting” time.

The Pope stated that at Christmas, God’s“’divine love and his coming down to us tell us that this too is a propitious time of salvation, in which the Lord, through the Virgin Mother, continues to give us his Son”.

He called on the congregation “to get involved with each other without delay, to go out to meet our brothers and sisters who have been forgotten and discarded by our consumerist and indifferent societies”.

He then quoted the Bible verse, John 3:16: “God who so loved the world, sent us his son, born of a woman so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

The Pope stated that the Virgin Mary during the celebration of the Our Lady of Guadalupe feast, “invites us to leave behind all the prejudices and fears that populate our hearts and to trust in the true God for whom we live, joyfully and confidently directing us to reaffirm our belonging to the Lord.”

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
