President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that kidnapping and banditry will cease to exist before the end of this year.

While speaking at the 2022 Olojo festival on Saturday, the president advised Nigerians to be security-conscious and not rely solely on security personnel to maintain the country’s law and order.

He also urged traditional institutions nationwide to encourage young people to return to farming in order to deal with the country’s food shortage.

He said, “Kabiyesi, this is full culture on display, I am proud to be here and part of a rich tradition.
