“If Your Man Is Wasting Time, Buy A Ring And Propose To Him.”-Yul Edochie Advises Ladies

Nollywood star Yul Edochie has given audacious advise to unmarried women who are impatiently awaiting a marriage proposal.

The actor-turned-pastor recently wrote a piece encouraging women to follow his advice and ask their boyfriends to marry them if their man is putting off getting engaged.

Speaking to his supporters, Yul Edochie advised women to get a ring and make the proposal on their own in case their boyfriends are reluctant.

In his words:

“Ladies, if you’re waiting for your man to propose marriage to you and he’s wasting time, buy a ring and propose to him.
There’s nothing wrong with it.
It doesn’t matter who says the words.
Propose.
Know your stand with him.
No time”.

Netizens Reactions…

Kanmelu said: “I don’t blame you. Judy made you believe that women are classless and not to be respected. Okpo”

Mic Angel46 said: “Na Judy propose to you? Just asking.”

Glamour Mimi Official said: “We now understand how you were dragged out of your peaceful marriage by Mrs Obasi.”

Carina Luijk said: “You are a mumu man. Now we know what Judy did!! No wonder una matter dey smell.”

Tina Bally Gh said:  “So that was what Judy did to snatch you from your adorable wife, Queen May Abi?

Topzee St Chris said: “Oga, this your narrative of advice is very wrong. It is never the duty of a woman to propose to a man.”

Believe it or not, women proposing to men is not a new concept and isn’t that different than a man proposing to a woman. Plenty of women have decided to drop down on one knee, do the asking themselves and leave the traditional gender roles in the past.
