“I’m So Sad” – Singer Spyro Reacts To BBN Nengi Pregnancy

Nigerian musician; Spyro has expressed his emotions as the news of Nengi Hampson’s pregnancy rumour went viral on the internet yesterday, February 10, 2025.

Spyro wrote on his Instagram story that he is feeling sad throughout the day.

The Who Is Your Guy hitmaker’s post comes just hours after reports surfaced from controversial blogger; Gistlover, that his love interest, Nengi Hampson Rebecca, welcomed a child with a Nigerian governor.

The blogger wrote; “SHALL WE?? By the way, she welcomed a child with a governor 🚶🚶🚶🚶🚶… 5th wife in the making? Make I talk abi make I face front? All these girls be doing the most, owo ijoba na yansh dey chop am… this gist is super messy… all the hide and seek don end ooo 🚶🚶🚶🚶🚶🚶.”

Reacting, a netizen claimed that the governor is Governor Douye Diri from Bayelsa State where Nengi comes from.

He said, “So Nengi allegedly gave birth to a baby for 65yr old Bayelsa State governor Douye Diri & rumour has it she’s the 5th wife. In this life, hustle to make money. These girls are all looking for financial security, that’s all.”

A few hours later, Spyro posted on his Instastories saying: “I’m so sad today.”

Spyro has frequently publicly shown his admiration for Nengi, which has led to rumors of a potential romance.

Spyro talked about his first encounter with Nengi a few months back. He sarcastically replied, “Nengi,” when asked which female star he would avoid spending time alone with during an interview.

He clarified that by avoiding the former BBNaija star, he wants to avoid temptation and not act like Jesus. Speaking of a previous time they sat opposite one another at a performance, Spyro said that he had tempted thoughts but prayed against them till he departed.

“An interviewer recently asked me, Which female in this industry would you never allow yourself be left in a room with? Guess who I named? That would be NENGI.
