In Loving Memory Of Chidera Andre Eze, A 5yrs old Pupil Of Redeemer’s Nursery and Primary School Acme, Ogba Who Drowned In The Pool

The loss of a child is not something that can be forgotten easily. You overcome it one day at a time, and maybe even one minute at a time. It almost takes like forever. You’re never satisfied because you feel like that child should be there.

On 16, May 2022, a little saint; Chidera Andre Eze who was a pupil at the Redeemer’s Nursery and Primary School in Acme Ogba died during a supposedly swimming lesson at the Ivory Health Club on Ogundana Street, Allen, Ikeja.

The irresponsibility/negligence of the school and staff of the health club staff was blamed for the death of the child.

Following the incident, the school was shut down by the Lagos State Government and the Ministry of Education only for administrative reasons.

It’s is trite to say power corrupts absolutely even in the church. Humility can never be the case where power is on display.

A year after, Justice is yet to be served like a game of Monopoly.

Both facilities have continued their business.

Where is the Justice?

Chidera Andre Eze was a very young, affectionate, kind and vibrant kid. He was brilliant, and smart beyond his age. He is so loving and adorable…Oh..Chidera!!!

We know you are resting and smiling from above.

It is almost impossible for anyone to understand the pain and anguish. It’s surreal and on a different level. A new life is charted for you and people just expects you to snap out.

In mourning.
Healing is a decision. It takes effort and time to heal. Some wounds never get better, while others grow far more than they did before the loss. Never make assumptions about how someone else has handled their loss, and avoid putting grief on a level with other types of pain because you may never truly comprehend their loss.
