Tuesday, October 1, 2024 has been designated as a public holiday by the federal government in observance of the country’s 64th Independence Day.

The Federal Government’s pronouncement was made on Saturday by Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo through a statement released by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani.
