This year’s edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show, Season 6, will commence in a week.

According to the organizers of the show who announced the commencement of the reality TV show at a press conference in Lagos on Monday, they revealed that Season 6 of the show will premiere on July 24, 2021.

According to the organizers, those who will be housemates in this year’s edition of the show have already been selected, tested for Covid-19, and quarantined.

The lucky housemates will be unveiled to fans on July 24 before they will be ushered into the BBNaija House.

This year’s show will last for 72 days as the contestants/housemates will battle for the grand prize of N90 million. Oh…my!

Last year’s season 5 of Big brother Naija saw Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifah Agbeleshebioba, popularly called “Laycon”, emerge as the winner with a prize of N85 million.

This year’s edition will see fans voting for their favourite housemates via the show’s website and application. This is as the organizers ditch the SMS voting system to allow the participation of fans from outside Nigeria to also vote.
