The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the registration deadline for the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) application process.
According to the latest update, registration will now be open until May 22, 2026, giving prospective Direct Entry applicants more time to complete their applications.
Candidates who have not yet completed their registration are expected to be accommodated by the extension due to challenges in obtaining required credentials and other relevant documents.
Remember that JAMB has already extended the registration period until May 8 and approved additional certified registration centers nationwide. The most recent extension further demonstrates the Board’s commitment to ensuring that all eligible candidates are adequately represented in the 2026 admissions process.
It is advised that potential applicants make the most of the chance and complete their registration before the final few days.
The Board is expected to intensify preparations for the commencement of the 2026 admissions process following the next admission policy meeting, scheduled for May 11, 2026.
