Jaruma Has Been Granted Bail By High Court In Abuja

An Upper Area Court in Zuba, Abuja has granted bail to Hauwa Saidu, also known as Jaruma.

The sitting judge, Barrister Ismail Abdullahi Jibril, granted bail to the aphrodisiac seller, stating that the case against Jaruma is bailable.

Jaruma’s bail conditions require her to provide one grade 12 surety who works in the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja.

She is facing a four-count charge of ”defamation of character, criminal intimidation, injurious falsehood, and publishing falsehood to incite the public to hate against Prince Ned Nwoko and his wife, Regina Daniels.”

Jaruma had earlier attacked Regina Daniels, alleging that she had collected millions of naira from her and that she had failed to accomplish the work for which she was paid.

Jaruma also claimed that Ned Nwoko promised to frame her and fabricate evidence against her.

Ned Nwoko then signed a petition against Jaruma, accusing the popular Kayanmata seller of spreading lies about him and his wife, Regina, on her Instagram page.

“Ned Nwoko has done so much damage to Innocent Citizens,” Sowore Takes Stands For Jaruma

However, Jaruma had pled not guilty to the accusations, and her attorney had requested bail, which the judge granted on January 28, 2022.

Also, earlier on, human rights activist and owner of the Sahara reporters news network, Omoyele Sowore had appealed for justice for the Aphrodisiac dealer stating that defamation is a civil matter and that Jaruma must be set free.

Sowore responded to the news on his Instagram page, on Thursday. He also accused Ned Nwoko Of damaging the lives of innocent citizens.

He said: “#FreeJaruma: It is disheartening that Nigeria Police Force continues to deploy itself to despicable VIP mercenary activities. This so-called Billionairë, Ned Nwoko has done so much damage to lots of innocent citizens in his community with the aid of the Nigerian police. Jaruma is his latest victim. This culture cannot stand! Defamation is a civil matter! Let @jaruma_empire go!
