Jehovah’s Witnesses Parent Refuse To See Their Daughter And Grand Children After 10 Years Of Marrying A Catholic

A Twitter user described how a Jehovah’s Witness mother and father refused to visit their daughter and grandchildren for ten years because she married a Catholic.

The lady’s parents have been threatening the pair since they left the country with their children, according to @Purpleandflawed.

She tweeted, “It is 10 years since my uncle got married to his beautiful, loving, and kind wife. In 10 years, the parents of this girl have not seen their daughter or 3 grandchildren. Because my uncle is catholic and they are Jehovah’s witnesses, so the marriage shouldn’t have happened.

“A week today, they left Nigeria with their children to further continue with their Medical careers. My mum, said the parents of the girl are threatening them. It is beyond hilarious for me and everything I believe in.”

Jehovah’s Witness is known for its strict rules against leaving the church, marrying outside the church, and other restrictions to its member’s association with people who do not belong to the organization.

Popular legendary musician and songwriter, Michael Jackson, also known as the “King of Pop,” had issues with his family due to his disobedience to the church’s instruction on the release of his ‘Thriller’ music video as it contradicted the Jehovah’s Witnesses doctrine on ‘life after death’.

Michael went along with releasing his music video which resulted in his family deserting him.
