Jennifer Lopez Announces 2023 Album Titled ‘This Is Me…Now’

The release of Jennifer Lopez’s album This Is Me…Now has been set for 2023.

The hit song Jenny From The Block was featured on the 53-year-old pop megastar’s most recent album, This Is Me…Then, which she also wrote and produced.

This Friday, the 20th anniversary of that album’s release, which took place on November 25, 2002.

The new album “chronicles the emotional, spiritual, and psychological journey that she has made over the previous 20 years,” according to the album’s announcement.

It adds: “An emotionally raw and honest project, unlike any she has produced before, she writes and sings about her life and experiences that will resonate with us all.”

This Is Me…Now will also explore her “tough childhood” in The Bronx, a borough of New York City, and her “unsuccessful relationships and the incredible emotional journey she has been on”.

This album is a philosophy, a reflection, a zeitgeist moment. It’s about hope, faith and true love never dying,” the announcement also said.

Prior to the wedding being postponed, Lopez and Ben Affleck got engaged in November 2002 and had been set on getting married in September 2003.

In January 2004, the Hollywood A-listers broke off their engagement.

In July 2022, Affleck, 50, and Lopez were wed at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

This Is Me was among the title tunes Lopez teased on Instagram for her most recent album. The greatest love story never told, Mad in Love, Midnight Trip to Vegas, and Now, To Be Yours.

Since the release of her last album, A.K.A, in 2014, Lopez has put out singles and contributed to the Marry Me in 2022 soundtrack.

She has two number one albums on the Billboard 200 list and four number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, respectively.
