APC Hires Fake Bishops To Attend Its Vice-Presidential Candidate’s Unveiling.
On Wednesday, July 20, the All Progressive Congress (APC), assembled at Abuja to unveil its vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima, for the 2023 elections.
The party was highly criticised by Christian leaders and other Nigerians after it decided to run a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket in the forthcoming election.
As a result of this, the APC had to hire fake bishops and clergymen to attend its vice presidential candidate’s unveiling to create the impression that they were being supported despite their controversial Muslim-Muslim ticket.
After the event, there came one of the con artists, complaining that he and his fellow bishops were cheated by the APC hirelings who promised to pay them N100,000 each for the job but ended up giving them N40,000 and some N30,000.

Oby Ezekwesili Warns PDP On Using Her Picture For Its Campaign.
Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili called out The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Twitter for using her image in their campaign material without her consent.
The PDP’s official Twitter handle had posted a campaign material (now deleted) with her image on it, which claimed that Atiku, its presidential candidate hired Mrs Ezekwesili, Mr Soludo, Gov El-Rufia and Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala during his time as the Vice President of Nigeria under former President Obasanjo.
In response to this, the former Minister of Education warned the PDP, stating that she was never appointed by Atiku and that her images should not be used without her consent.
Soon after her warning, The PDP’s Twitter handle took down the post.
As a result of the event, Nigerians on Twitter mocked the party and accused it of going to any extent to deceive the public.
