Just In: Buhari Calls For Emergency Security Meeting Following UK And US Terror Warnings

President Muhammadu Buhari has called an emergency security meeting with the Security Chiefs following terror warnings from the UK and US.

The emergency security meeting is scheduled to take place in Abuja on Monday.

The presidency stated in a series of tweets that the meeting is intended to strengthen the country’s security network.

According to the tweets, Buhari would receive briefings from the Security Chiefs during the meeting.

The tweets read: “President @MBuhari will on Monday meet with security chiefs in the nation’s capital, Abuja, to further review and strengthen security network in the country.

“The President, who was initially scheduled to commission the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) new Technology and Innovation Complex, will receive briefs from the security chiefs, and interject on areas that need more attention.

“The commissioning of the NASENI complex will hold at a later date.”
