Just In: Hoodlums Attack Reporters Covering Tinubu’s Lagos Arrival

On Sunday, a bus carrying news reporters covering the Lagos State Government and the convoy of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the ruling All Progressives Congress’s presidential candidate, was attacked.

The incident happened at the Adeniji end of Isale Eko, according to Daily Post, when the former Lagos State Governor paid a visit to the Oba of Lagos on his return to his home state following his election as a presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections.

As Tinubu’s convoy drove away from the palace, hoodlums hurled stones and other hazardous weapons at the bus.

Some of the hoodlums were seen destroying side glasses and front windshields of the vehicle with swords and cutlasses in a video accessed by Daily Post.

At the time of reporting, there was no news of any reporter being affected.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
