Kanye Responds To Criticism On His “White Lives Matter” T-shirt

American rapper, Kanye West responded to criticism he received for wearing a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt at his fashion show with his Yeezy models.

The Yeezy brand owner presented his Season 9 collection in Paris on Monday, October 3.

He attended the event with Black conservative influencer Candace Owens and other models, wearing a White Lives Matter T-shirt.

Black people were outraged by this and accused him of demeaning the Black Lives Matter movement.

In response, Kanye called out individuals who had criticized him and said that the Black Lives Matter movement was a fraud.

He wrote on his Instagram, “Everyone knows that Black Lives Matter was a scam now it’s over. You’re welcome.”

He also slammed Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, a contributing editor for Vogue, for calling his White Lives Matter shirt “dangerous” and “responsible.”

Kanye mocked Gabriella’s wardrobe in a photo he posted, saying, “This is not a fashion person. You speak on Ye. Ima speak on you. Ask Trevor Noah.”

Then Kanye posted a picture of only Gabriella’s boots with the caption: “I KNOOOOOOW ANNA [Wintour] HAAAATES THESE BOOTS.”

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
