Kanye West’s Daughter North Opens Up About Her Faith In God

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 11-year-old daughter, North West, got the cover of Interview Magazine’s Fall 2024 issue.

Kim, 43, joined the interview with her eldest child.

North discussed a number of things with her mother, including her disdain for school, her father, and her belief in God.

During the interview, Kim asked her daughter a lesson she would never forget, to which North replied, “To trust God only.”

The reality star added, “That’s a great lesson,” and then followed by asking North to reveal her “favourite class.”

“I don’t like school,” the 11-year-old replied, adding that while she enjoys art, her “art class is very annoying. My favourite class is probably Latin.”

Another question was, “What do you do to help other people?”

North answered, “Spread the gospel. Tell them about God, and how problems get solved if they follow his word and his way.”

North also shared “the best day” of her life, which she spent in Italy with her father, Kanye West.

Kardashian and West were married from 2014 until their divorce was completed in 2022, and they had four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

When describing the trip to her mother, North recalled, “It was just us and my siblings, and that’s when I really brought them close to God, because we had this house and there was these devil statues, and I was like, ‘Mm-mm, mm-mm, no, girl.’

She added, “I was like, ‘We got to pray.’ So then I taught Chi and Psalm and Saint how to pray. God really did his thing after.”

In addition, North disclosed that Japan is her favorite destination.

North and her siblings were photographed shopping with Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, in Tokyo earlier this year, in June.

In regards to what she loves about Japan, North explained, “Everything. Everybody’s style is on point. Or New York, because the streetwear there is – yes. And New York is really fun.”

Concerning her current “favourite style,” North disclosed to Kim her preference for “streetwear and the ’90s. Tyler, the Creator; my dad; me.” 

She also said, “I am starting my own clothing line,” and revealed that it will be named after herself.

The topic of conversation later shifted to the future, with Kim asking, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

North replied, “I don’t know, because I already do a lot of stuff that I want to be when I grow up. I just want to pursue my career now.”

North has achieved a number of recent achievements, including a role in The Lion King’s 30th anniversary concert and an appearance on her father Kanye West’s Vultures 2 album.
