Kenyan Woman Jailed For Having Car-S*x On A Busy Road

A Kenyan woman was fined Ksh20,000 in default and sentenced to serve a six-month jail term for causing a traffic delay while having s*x with her lover in her car in the middle of Thika Road.

The Kenyan woman, whose name has been concealed, entered a guilty plea to the charges of causing a disturbance and impeding traffic at Thika Road Mall in Roysambu on January 24, 2023, and was handed the sentence by a Makadara Law court.

This was after the court was informed that she was detained by Kasarani Police Station traffic officers who were patrolling the area around the Thika Road Mall.

She was discovered in a compromising position with a man in the car that was stopped in the middle of the road at the time of her arrest. Why the two decided to have s*x at the middle of a busy road is still a mystery.

The cops respectfully interrupted the couple’s session and requested that they move to the driveway, but the prosecution said that they encountered hostility when they did so.

The prosecutor said: “Enraged by the police request to drive away, the accused person began hurling insults at the officers who were armed and even reportedly dared them to open fire.”

The drama that occurred was immediately reported by the officers to their supervisor at Kasarani Police Station. He then dispatched reinforcements, who subdued the two lovers and arrested them.

The woman, who admitted throughout her trial that the case’s details were accurate, pleaded with the court to pardon her, saying she is sorry and will never repeat the offences.

She was given a K10,000 fine or a six-month jail sentence by the magistrate for each offence. Her appeal period is 14 days.
