Kevin Spacey Cleared Of All Charges Of S*xual Assault

Kevin Spacey, the Oscar-winning actor, was found not guilty by a London jury of seven sexual assaults and two additional s*xual offences against four men.

The Hollywood icon, 64, was charged with s*x offences allegedly committed between 2004 and 2013, while he was the artistic director of London’s Old Vic theatre. He entered a not-guilty plea to all of the accusations.

Kevin Spacey cried as the judgement was read and thanked the jury when they pronounced him not guilty. The verdict is also due today, July 26, his 64th birthday.

The jury at London’s Southwark Crown Court was summoned by Justice Mark Wall on Monday at 12.45 p.m. local time to examine their verdicts.

After 12 hours and 26 minutes of deliberation over three days, the jury returned on Wednesday and found Kevin Spacey not guilty on all counts.

Spacey has two Academy Award nominations for his performances in “The Usual Suspects” and “American Beauty.” He has recently returned to acting after quitting “House of Cards.” The actor appeared in the Netflix series for five seasons until being sacked in 2017 amid allegations of on-set and off-set wrongdoing.
