Kolu, a well-known media personality and content creator, has asked fellow performer Carter Efe for a loan of ₦7 million to assist in getting controversial singer Portable out of jail.
Kolu made this appeal during a Twitch livestream with Carter Efe on Thursday, and expressing his concern for the singer’s well-being.
When asked why he was so concerned in Portable’s case, Kolu said that the musician was crucial to his ascent to prominence, claiming that Portable brought him to Lagos and provided him with the exposure that transformed his life.
Speaking in Pidgin English, Kolu said, “Portable brought me to Lagos, I come blow. Na him help my life.”
Recall that the Federal High Court in Ota, Ogun State, remanded Portable in prison on Tuesday due to accusations of auto theft and alleged assault involving his baby mama, Ashabi Simple.
