Lady Allegedly Behind The Pique And Shakira’s Break Up Speaks Out

A young lady who has been accused of being the catalyst for the breakup of footballer Gerard Pique and his former partner, Colombian pop singer Shakira, has denied the claims.

There were allegations earlier this month that Pique’s alleged new lover was a ’22-year-old blonde’ woman known only as ‘C.M‘, who is a close friend of Pique’s teammate, Riqui Puig.

The lady works as a waitress in a nightclub in Spain and lives in Catalonia, the same region where the Barcelona defender does.

Shakira is said to have engaged private investigators who discovered the woman to be Pique’s girlfriend.

The former couple has subsequently announced their split, with their lawyers seeking to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.

Due to speculations that she was involved in Pique and Shakira’s breakup, the woman behind the split has since erased her social media presence.

‘C.M.’ recently came out to say that she is not the girl who is the subject of the rumours, and she also explained why she is no longer on social media.

She was cited as stating the following on the Telecinco show (via MARCA):

“I would like to clarify that I do not know Gerard Pique at all, they have linked me to him without meaning because of the description of the supposed girl and they have awarded me the role-taking advantage of the fact that I do not have social media because I am doing my final exams.”

“It’s not me and I don’t know her, so please leave me alone, people are blasting me for things I haven’t done, anything that comes out with my name will be met with a lawsuit (…) I don’t understand why they’ve gotten me in the way,” She added.

The woman in question wants to remain anonymous and believes that the real woman behind the separation will be discovered eventually.

She said, “I guess because they need someone to change the subject and confuse everyone, although what they’ve told me is that the real girl is going to come out soon, I hope that’s how they leave me in peace and be able to go back to studying calmly, which is what matters to me.”
