LeBron James’ Son Collapses And Suffers A Cardiac Arrest

NBA star LeBron James’ son Bronny experienced a cardiac attack during a workout at the University of Southern California (USC) on July 24.

The incident occurred during a USC exercise, and the superstar Lakers player’s son was sent to the hospital immediately, according to TMZ.

Bronny, who recently committed to the Trojans, was removed by ambulance from USC’s Galen Center, the location where the school’s basketball team practices and plays games, after apparently making a 911 call at around 9.26 am on Monday.

The 18 years old combo guard has been practising at the University of Southern California in preparation for his debut season of college basketball.

The incident is thought to have been a Code 3, which indicates the gravity of the call and necessitates the use of ambulance lights and sirens.

“Yesterday while practising, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest,” a family statement said. “Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.

“We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update the media when there is more information.

“LeBron and Savannah (Bronny’s parents) wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

Bronny was taken by EMS to the hospital after becoming unconscious at the Galen Center facility, where the team practices and plays at 9.26 am, emergency services received a call, according to TMZ Sports.

Bronny, an All-American high school athlete, committed to play for USC last month with the goal of following in the footsteps of his four-time NBA Champion father.

NBA players like Jalen Brunson and Trae Young tweeted their support and prayers for James.
